Boiler Room Prayer
9:00am – 9:15am
Location: 8512 Morganford Rd., St. Louis, MO 63116
In the late 19th century, one of the churches having the largest impact on the city of London was London Metropolitan Tabernacle. Some worship services drew as many as 10,000 people, and the church had such an impact on their city that it was said London would have grieved if they had closed their doors. However, Spurgeon never took credit for the success of his ministry. Instead, he always pointed to the hundreds of people who prayed during the services for God to work, referring to these powerful gatherings of prayer as the church’s “boiler room.”
A healthy church is a praying church, and a praying church sees God show off in ways that only he can. We invite you to join us in prayer every Sunday for the joy of our community and the good of our neighbors, starting at 9:00am in the main sanctuary. While there will be an opportunity for you to pray aloud, please know I will not put you on the spot. Would you consider joining us?
