Recently my father-in-law, also a pastor, sent me this quote: “Wishing I’d taken better notes in Bible school when I took that elective on ‘How to pastor through a global pandemic, a recession, and another Civil Rights Movement.’” This isn’t exactly what my pastoral training prepared me for either. 2020 has already been a roller coaster of events and emotions, and not the fun kind.
