Because we believe that God has called parents to be the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process.
During our main Sunday Morning Worship Gathering we offer safe, structured classes for children ages 8 weeks through 1st grade.
There are many options for you when to bring your children to Bayless Kids (located in the upstairs hallway next to the sanctuary).
You can check-in your child(ren) before the service, starting 15 minutes before the service. Children under 2 years old may also be dropped off at this time with our Serve Team.
You can check-in your child(ren) after the greeting time when they are dismissed. If you do, you will need to do so down the hall outside the sanctuary in the Bayless Kids area.
All parents are always welcome to keep children of any age with them during the entire service!
Trained volunteers navigate children through intentional curriculum to help children engage with the Bible in a way that makes sense to them. The curriculum we use is called the Gospel Project which shows how Jesus is the hero in every Bible story.
PARENTS WITH INFANTS
You are absolutely welcome to keep your baby with you during service. Whoever is preaching will not give you evil glares if your baby squirms and squeaks during the height of his sermon. There is also a "Calming Corner" room set aside for moms located at the rear right of the sanctuary. Your baby is also welcome at Bayless Kids whenever you feel comfortable.
HEALTH & WELLNESS POLICY
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we are implementing some new procedures to help ensure a clean and safe environment for everyone in our building. Here are some of the adjustments you can expect to see:
- We are performing a weekly no-contact temperature check for every child and serve team member.
- A Bayless Kids serve team member will be available in the foyer to check you in using our self-check-in kiosk.
- Our cleaning service will be making a thorough sweep of the church building, particularly our main auditorium, children's classrooms, and other high-traffic areas and high-touch surfaces.
- We are restricting participation based on symptoms. If you or any of your family members display any of the following symptoms, we ask that you remain away from the church building until the symptoms have subsided: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
