What is Advent?
For nearly 1500 years, Christians have set apart the season of Advent—the four weeks preceding Christmas—as a time to intentionally remember Christ and His two comings. The first in humiliation, the second in glory; the first in condescension, the second in exaltation; the first for forgiveness, the second for judgment. It is a season in which we rehearse our anticipation, our waiting, our longing for the coming of our King, crying “Even now, come, Lord Jesus.”

The Advent Guide
As our church prepares to celebrate the coming of Christ, it is important to prepare your heart as well. Toward this end, we will be providing a resource created by the Village Church in Flower Mound, TX, called “The Advent Guide” (used with permission).
